Point Blank by Catherine Coulter

Point Blank by Catherine Coulter

Special Agent Ruth Warnecki took some personal time off in order to go down into some caves in Virginia on a treasure hunt. While down in the cave alone, she suddenly becomes disoriented, weak, and confused. She is found later in the snow outside of Sherriff Dixon Noble and his dog. While under Dix's care, two men try to murder Ruth. They return to the cave to find out what she may have found which would place her in such danger.

This is the 10th book in Coulter's FBI series. I have always enjoyed this series, but this was not one of my favorites. I really liked Dixon and Ruth's characters, but I did not really like the secondary plot line involving Savich and Sherlock and even Ruth and Dixon's story line was just okay.
