Feeling lost and unsure after the divorce from her first husband and the sudden death of her second husband, Sidney Sklar takes the job as a summer tutor for a beautiful but slow 17 year old girl named Julie the families beach cottage on the New Hampshire coast line. Sidney struggles to fit in to the family and her role in the household. As she grows closer to Mr. Edwards and Julie, she tries to ignore the disdain from Mrs. Edwards and also finds herself entangled in a long-standing feud between the two Edwards' sons, Jeff and Ben.

Hi Christine-

I thought it was a good story. Not totally earth shattering, but entertaining. I liked the main character. Hmm, will you like it? I think so. Arg. This is hard. I would hate to say yes and then have you disappointed!!
